The Exception was a Pop Punk band from East Norwich, Long Island, New York that lasted from 2005 to 2006. The band played shows locally before breaking up. Mike Ventimiglia went on to join Hardcore Punk band, Death Within the Hour which would turn into Metalcore band, Casari. Keith Higgins joined Eleven Forty 3, a Pop Punk band from Oyster Bay that broke up into The Chronicles and Ride the Trigger. Ryan Mielke joined The Vision for four months before starting Oh, Savanna with Jordan Schatz.
